Bugs, Bugs, Bugs

We spent time learning about bugs today, especially lady bugs and Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. Ms. Stacey was given a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach at the Summer Reading Conference that she went to earlier this year. "Benny," as he is known to Ms. Stacey, lives with her and her family in a cozy plastic bowl. She brought him for us to look at. He eats lettuce, carrots, and dog food!
